Rob & Rachel Badman
Seeking to creatively and passionately pursue Jesus
We first wrote a worship song together while attending the Bethel School of Worship in 2010. At the time we were just friends desiring to seek God and to honour Him with our thoughts and our voices. We didn’t realise that a few years later we would be married and prompted to share our songs with God’s people.
We both serve and lead worship at The Father’s House Christian Healing Centre. The Father’s House is a unique church situated in Lawson, NSW, and pastored by Stephen and Tania Clarke. At The Father’s House, freedom in worship is extremely important, and undergirds many other aspects of our devotion to Jesus. Two members of the worship team in particular (Andrew Battishill and Jen Cork) have greatly influenced and impacted us and the music that we write. We have spent hours upon hours seeking the Lord together in worship, and these two bring a fire and passion to our worship that is difficult to explain!
In 2013 we were nudged by God to capture the songs that we had written, and released our debut album ’The Seeds Project’, which reached #3 on the iTunes ’Inspirational’ chart, and was our way of sharing our hearts for worship with our church family. We’ve continued to lead worship and minister over the past 3 years, and throughout 2015 and 2016, wrote the songs that now make the album ‘From the Ground Up’. We hope and pray that the end result draws you closer than ever before to the heart of the Father, and to living a life of freedom in His Presence.
“Rachel and Rob are talented songwriters and musicians, and great people to be around. Their main gifting however is to usher people into the presence of God, and that is a rare thing.”
Stephen and Tania Clarke – Founders, The Father’s House.
“We have partnered with Rob & Rach several times over the years, and without fail, we have always seen the Holy Spirit move in people’s lives through the ministry God has trusted them with. Our faith community is stronger because of how God has used them.”
Phil Evans – Senior Minister, HVBC.
